i knew i wanted to create a clothing brand when i was in the eighth grade. i just had no idea how to start.
brainstorming with my dad, we thought it had to be sort of simplistic, like a lot of famous brands i liked.
we realized if anyone knew anything about simple drawings, it'd be my little brother, who was six at the time. so i gave him a page in my notebook and after choosing a favorite drawing and making slight tweaks, the monster logo was born.
the brand is named asym because of how each logo is purposely drawn asymmetrically- something i noticed about the chosen doodle my brother had drawn and a nice quirk i wanted to carry on.
